National Guard and Reserve Mobilized as of June 2, 2004

This week the Army announced a decrease in the number of reservists on
active duty in support of the partial mobilization. The Navy and Air Force each
report a slight increase. The Marine Corps reports no change. The net collective result is 1,624 fewer reservists on active duty than last week.

At any given time, services may mobilize some units and individuals
while demobilizing others, making it possible for these figures to either increase
or decrease. Total number currently on active duty in support of the partial
mobilization for the Army National Guard and Army Reserve is 143,714; Naval Reserve 2,534; Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, 11,426; Marine Corps Reserve, 5,046; and the Coast Guard Reserve, 1,543. This brings the total National Guard and Reserve on active duty to 164,263 including both units and individual
augmentees.

A cumulative roster of all National Guard and Reserve who are currently
on active duty can be found at
