Democrats have taken the house in an absolute landslide election, taking a 35-seat lead (according to MSNBC, 2:00AM CDT 11/8/2006).  The new House majority had been postulated months before the election, but not necessarily to this extent.  Democratic control of the Senate is now closer than ever with only Montana and Virginia to confirm their election results.

Both of Montana and Virginia are leaning towards the Democrats, as both Webb and Tester have fairly significant leads with only a fraction of the voters yet counted.

Consider the national message the election dictates.  The country is tired of the rubberstamp congress, and the country wants real answers from Bush.

How will the public demands be met?  Will there be 2 years of constant hearings?  Hopefully, everything will be constructive rather than vindictive.
