Given the clearly non-existent progress in Iraq, a number of Republicans, on Capitol Hill, have started openly exhibiting anger and frustration towards the Bush Administration’s policy of misinformation.

Senator Hagel was criticized by his own party for feeling uncomfortable with the Iraq invasion during the early on, during the justification period (remember WMD and immanent threat?).  He is now expressing strong opposition to Bush’s Iraq policy, indicating that he believes “The White House is completely disconnected from reality."  (1)

Democrats, with the exception of Dean, have yet to correctly characterize the Administration’s Iraq strategy.  Hagel, however, has hit the nail on the head (1):

It's like they're just making it up as they go along.

This sentiment is felt by a growing number of Republicans who are beginning to take their hijacked party.
