Your political cow sent the following letter to his senator, perhaps you should do the same:

Senator Vitter,

I implore you not to support any attempts by other members of the Senate to make judicial nominations immune to a Senate filibuster. 

Consider the long-term implications to our system of checks and balances.  You may one day require this tool in order to block extremely liberal nominations.

Please also consider the affects on national unity and the growing perception of a non-collaborative and highly partisan environment in Washington.
